Here are good chess puzzles for beginners, not because they are easy, but because you can solve them in just two moves.
Use your chess skills to solve chess game puzzles. All of these puzzles can be solved by white checkmating in two moves.
All these puzzles are from popular chess books (see credits), and I have also checked that all puzzles are correct with a computer (simply by trying out all possible moves).
You can solve all puzzles of this chess game with these chess moves.
The chess pawns move forward. Unlike other pieces, the pawns capture diagonally.
On the first move pawns can move up to two squares, but can also be captured in both squares.
The chess king moves one square in any direction.
The king can't be in a square where it'd be captured.
The chess queen moves straight in any direction.
If a pawn moves to the last row, it can be promoted; In this game auto-promoted usually to a queen.
A chess rook moves orthogonally.
If a king and a rook have not moved yet, you can castle.
The chess bishop moves diagonally.
Obviously, one bishop moves only in white squares and another in red squares.
The chess knight jumps two squares orthogonally and then one square sideways.
Unlike other pieces, the knight can jump over other pieces.
This is an online chess game, which you can install also as an app (PWA) on your browser.
